Guess who’s back!

Hello bloggers!

I am back! I had a wonderful trip and I was treated like a queen :p. I took lots of pictures, but I will upload later. I have the weekend off, which is good because I need a break from taking a break (total first world problem). Here’s a sneak peek:

Weekly Photo Challenge: Letters

Hello!!!! It’s Friday, which means another Photo challenge :). I have two photos to share with you. The first one is of letters written by me great aunt. The letters talk about the time she was neighbours with my late grandparents. It’s a perspective on her and their lives years ago. She’s still alive and I talk to her as often as I can, but whenever I get nostalgic, I read them. The second photo is of clouds, because the sky writes us letters everyday. Enjoy!

Hi everyone!!!! Hope you’re doing great :D. It’s the weekend!! )— ^_^ —(  << that’s me doing a…dance?

I remember when I was a child, and weekends meant Saturday morning cartoons and playing hide-and-seek with the neighbourhood kids. You know, those days when it was safe for a kid to go –and stay–outside. Thankfully, nowadays I can still watch cartoons or movies (thank you Netflix) on Saturday mornings :D.

Here are some photos of one of my favourite spots, the lake! I love it. It is so peaceful and relaxing. It’s also a safe place, because if someone were to jump behind me and try to attack me, I could throw them into the lake ;).

Have an awesome weekend everyone! 😀

Countless Power – A to Z Challenge

Today’s A to Z challenge letter is ‘C’

DSC08572 copy

Countless Power

“Cannot” is a word we frequently use, sometimes when we shouldn’t. There are times we fail to see our “Countless power,” and I’m not talking about magical powers or a variety of sorcery. I’m talking about the ability to see our capabilities as human beings and as ourselves; it is a tool that we can use to heal the rough patches we must face. Realistically speaking, we will be led through unwanted roads, where we will need to rely on our inner power to escape. As it pertains to all of us, there is no way to predict such circumstances; however, why are we so fearful and non-confident?

We mustn’t be, we are warriors fighting for our happiness, and everyday we write our own melodies and stroll through our self-made routes. It’s time we  believed in ourselves, not because life is too short, but because we were born to be confident in your own skin and personality. It is not our fault for the anxiety inflicted in you by evildoers, but it is our duty to ensure we seek our freedom. We have countless reasons to move forward, and countless “gadgets” inside of us. For example, the gift of laughter; there is always something that makes us laugh, and it is true that laughter is the best medicine. Self-doubt only ignites unworthy and unloving feelings, and we must remember that just by fact we want to do good in this world, is enough reason to believe that we are good.

Struggles is what makes us stronger, and we cannot avoid it.You shouldn’t use the word ‘cannot’ so often, but you should still use it. Why? Because you learn from it, and it gives you a chance to explore new adventures, only as long as you’re not hurting yourself and others. Say, “I cannot” and add “but I will try”. You never know what doors will open, unless you take one step forward and try. You can live to laugh, and love to live, the roads can be everlasting.

It’s yours forever

You wanted your heart back

I didn’t want mine

we selflessly gave each others’

and hand by hand

we became one

it felt everlasting.

~~~
I could sense my heart beating
I felt it when you tried to give it back
I said I didn’t want it
it’s yours forever.
 ~~~

You tried to shove it,

but it failed

your intentions were good

but I had no good reflexes.

I knew it

I didn’t want a broken heart.

It’s yours forever.

 ~~~
We danced through the stars
above constellations
our own world became a reality
through luminous skies and laughter.
how many times did you wish to return my heart?
It’s yours forever.
~~~

Possibilities became hopeless

setting a despair

my cry was heard

beyond mountains and the sea,

 you departed from our journey,

and the stars fell from the sky,

the darkness engulfed my heart,

and it shattered through the ground.

~~~
Breathless
In pain
Irreparable
I didn’t want it back
It was yours forever.
Random Photo of the Day #2…with a Story Starter!
First of all, thank you to all of you for reading my posts! You are all wonderful! So, here’s a photo dedicated to YOU. I took it a few years back – I didn’t realize how interesting my life was years ago – on an ordinary day. I don’t remember exactly what I was doing, but it looks like I was on my usual walks around my neighbourhood (in Vancouver). All I remember is looking up at the sky and thinking, “Boy, that sure looks like a heart. I should take a pic!” So, I did! Nature has beautiful ways to remind you that the world has a lot of goodness in it. We all deserve to be happy and loved, and to think we are worthy; because we all are.
Your story starter is four words that you can use to write about something that is good about you, or that you love. You can comment, write or just think about it. I always say, “count your Blessings, not your mishaps”. There’s a lot of evil in this world, so it’s good to remind ourselves of the good within us.
Story Starter: I am… I love…
