…a long time since we have last spoken. Well, since you last read any new entries. A lot has happened since last summer; heartbreaks, chapters that have been since closed. I have been preocuppied with work and finishing my novel and poetry book – yes those are still a reality. I told you I would never give up :D! Here’s to say I’m sorry for not updating in a while and I hope you’re looking forward to my new entries. In the meantime, here are some new photos I’ve taken and also follow me on my instagram and comment :D! My instagram: worldruler007
In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Scale.”
I’m back to posting Weekly Photo Challenges! This week’s theme is all about Scale. Here are two photos from my trip to Peru last summer. First photo is of a fountain downtown. I love the change in sizes and the trees in the background. The second is a mini repilica of a popular tourist bus :D. Enjoy
I returned to work today, so I’m adjusting to my old routine :p. I was so spoiled in Peru, I did not even cook! I guess we all deserve to be pampered once in a while. Here’s another photo from my trip! More to come, of course.
I am back! I had a wonderful trip and I was treated like a queen :p. I took lots of pictures, but I will upload later. I have the weekend off, which is good because I need a break from taking a break (total first world problem). Here’s a sneak peek:
I went for a hike today and boy, did the mosquitoes enjoy feasting on my flesh! It was peaceful and a bit muddy, but I had fun :). Tomorrow, I’ll probably be sore and scratching my bites, but I guess everything comes with its ups and downs. Enjoy these photos :). I’ll post more later!
I’ve been sort of M.I.A. this weekend, because I volunteered at the Cancer Relay for Life. It was an awesome event (they fed us, so that’s always good) and met so many survivors and others who persevere in the fight against cancer. May 27th marked my grandpa’s one year since he lost his battle with cancer at age 85. I volunteered in his honour. He defeated cancer once when I was little and was able to live a full and healthy life. Every day is a gift and I’ve heard from survivors how watching a sunset can be a victory, so yesterday I took a minute to appreciate the sunset. Life is short, so live without regrets.
