Not everyone likes to wake up to get up in the morning, but it is part of life so have to get over it. However, a lot of people have their own set of rules for waking up, to ease the torturing habit of leaving a good dream and a cozy bed behind. I don’t have a lot of rules, because I sleep like a rock and only wake up to strange noises, not familiar ones. But, just for fun, here are a few of my rules I like others to follow, and some of my routines:
1) I don’t talk in my sleep, but if you see a smile on my face, it means I’m having a good dream. Chances are, Robert Downey Jr is proposing and I’m accepting…you do not want to interrupt that (unless it’s an emergency).
3) To avoid being cranky in the morning, I don’t plan my breakfasts. This is to avoid disappointment if they don’t go as planned. I don’t drink coffee, instead I drink coconut or soy milk (I’m not lactose intolerant. I just prefer them) and/or orange juice. Sometimes, I do have drinkable yogurt. Here’s a little fact: orange juice calms me down :p. Forget alcoholic drinks; orange juice is my go-to drink when I’m under stress :).
Daily Post asks: Are you a night owl or are you the early bird? What’s your most productive time of day? When do you do your best work?
Peter Pan and Tinker Bell visited me this morning and took me on an adventure of a lifetime. I got to fly all over Ontario! Yea, right… But, I did fly today. I flew out of my bed thinking I slept in – I didn’t. I dislike moments like those.
I set two alarms, each one is 15 minutes apart from each other. I do this to avoid sleeping in. It depends on the day and what I have to do – on my days off, I rely on my body clock. My first alarm for today was set for 6 am and my second for 6:30. I did this, so I could take time to clean my room before I went to work (I like to come to a clean place). I wake up fast in the morning, except for my days off. I’m not much of a morning person, which is the reason I make sure I wake up early, and then walk to work. I don’t drink coffee, so my routine is probably a bit more different than others :p.
My alarm went off at 6 and I immediately thought I had slept in. I jumped out of bed while my heart palpitated and then, I realized I didn’t sleep in, and I had woken when I precisely meant to. Well, the scare helped me awaken faster than usual :p. I can do my best work at any time during the day, but I definitely love my evenings.
I’m just confused. Please, clarify this for me. Am I going crazy?
I feel like I’ve been through a time warp and back in winter. I woke up this morning, happy, confident, energetic, ready to wear my runners once again, only to find a fresh coat of snow in the front yard. Please, tell me we won’t be getting more snow! It’s been a very long winter and as much as I love building snowmen and falling on my bum on the slippery sidewalks, I do want to feel the sun shine on my face, I want to wear sunblock, I want to go to the store without wearing 10 layers underneath. I hope we don’t have such a terrible winter next time 😦
Mother Nature, please get the memo. Spring = flowers, sun, a bit of rain, dresses, NOT snow and freezing temperatures.
*singing* Winter, winter, go away, don’t come back another day
Good evening (morning or afternoon) everyone! How was your Thursday? Only 1 day until the weekend! Even if you have to work on the weekend, just celebrate…no? no? Okay.
There isn’t much to update, except that I go back to work next week! So, I’m just enjoying the last few days. I’m staying up late —I always stay up late, but let’s pretend I don’t and make a big deal out of this — to watch Grey’s Anatomy at 12am. The reason why is because my sister lives on the other side of the country so she’s 3 hours behind me. We like to watch it at the same time :p. Tonight’s episode should be interesting, there’s a weird bug going around at Grey-Sloan memorial hospital!
Today’s photo of the day is self-explanatory, when you look at it :p. Look at what I found! This photo is all about peace. We want peace and we want the world to be peaceful. Will it ever happen? Until then, think about things that make you feel peace.
Enjoy the rest of your day/night :D! Ta ta for now!
