Mother Nature strikes again – pun intended – and I was almost electrocuted by her. Because Ontario winter wasn’t enough to diminish any hopes of emotional attachment towards this province, Mother Nature decided to set a spark close to me and almost set me on fire. Sure, I’m exaggerating, but I did feel a shock and saw a spark coming out of my umbrella. I wasn’t walking with it, I was just standing outside my workplace ready to walk to my ride. Luckily, nothing worse happened. I like watching thunderstorms when I’m inside, but it’s a whole different experience when I’m in the middle of it.
Ah well, I shall not let this get to me. I’ll tell this story to my grandchildren someday, while we sit near the fireplace roasting marshmallows. Nature can still be beautiful, and this IS a lovely province. It’s just Mother Nature has some grudge against it. What have you done before I moved here, Ontario? Here’s a picture of how great nature can be:

I’m always excited when I encounter new challenges, and this is another step into furthering my writing. If you haven’t signed up, you can still do until the end of today (March 30th). The challenge begins tomorrow: A to Z Challenge
The reason I’m doing it is because, why not? I love to talk and write and this gives me a great excuse to continue doing so. Besides, it will challenge me to think and imagine new places to explore. I’m also hoping to come up with more ideas for my novel :). There is always room for improvement, and I cannot wait to share more posts with all of you! My ideas start in my head and end on a piece of paper (or Word document). Hopefully, I don’t end up curled up in a ball and wailing in a corner :p.
If you’re doing the challenge, best of luck! If you aren’t doing it, best of luck, as well :D.

I found these fireworks pictures I took a while ago. A lot of people are enjoying this St. Patrick’s Day, but I believe everyday should be a celebration. Still, here’s some fireworks to -hopefully- inspire you :). If you’re not into dyeing your hair green, pretending to be a tall leprechaun, or trying to steal their luck, find another excuse to celebrate! We all have accomplishments. So, cheers to your past, present, and future successes!
My accomplishment from last night: I killed a spider in less than 5 minutes.
What I hope to accomplish: I hope to be able to lure spiders into a cup and throw them outside, so I won’t have to
ruin my shoes squish them.
PS: I’ll post the last part of my short story, “Laura’s Closet” tomorrow :). I’ve been trying to get back to my Ontario personal schedule (I go back to work next month).

May this year bring you all the good that you deserve :). Here’s a picture of something green!
