If I absorb your energy
will I suffer or will I triumph?
open up and face it
you know what to say.
In doubt, in tears,
where have you been?
as our roots stay in ground
our growth is ceasing.
I walk in the midst of stars
adhering to upcoming dreams
unhitching to loud voices
freeing into my happiness.
Have you sung forgiving lyrics?
you released my hand
Was I ready?
Find me again…
Hi everyone!!!! Hope you’re doing great :D. It’s the weekend!! )— ^_^ —( << that’s me doing a…dance?
I remember when I was a child, and weekends meant Saturday morning cartoons and playing hide-and-seek with the neighbourhood kids. You know, those days when it was safe for a kid to go –and stay–outside. Thankfully, nowadays I can still watch cartoons or movies (thank you Netflix) on Saturday mornings :D.
Here are some photos of one of my favourite spots, the lake! I love it. It is so peaceful and relaxing. It’s also a safe place, because if someone were to jump behind me and try to attack me, I could throw them into the lake ;).
Have an awesome weekend everyone! 😀
❤ ❤ ❤ Love, Ellie ❤ ❤ ❤
There is something liberating about getting a haircut. I don’t like my hair long, so as soon as I start to tie it, I know it’s time to get a haircut. I always cut it shoulder-length, and straighten it. This time, however, I decided to go with side bangs. I mean, it is hair, right? If I don’t look good in them, I’ll let my hair grow and fix it. But, they turned out to be quite good! I love my hair stylist. She’s awesome!
As I was saying, it feels like regained freedom, like a new chapter you have begun. It’s something that sets you a bit off-track from your daily routine, but quickly pulls you back. I take it as a new adventure.
I’m embarking on a new journey. I’m going to embrace this and test the waters…that is until I have to put a hat on, then I’ll end up with hat hair, which looks like the picture below…
Of course! The world doesn’t rule me today 😀
PS: I took those pictures. Like I said before, I’m going to share a bit of my photography :p
