Poetry: If you were

If you were in my shoes

an opportunity for leisure

you would crawl

but not fall

your soul would thrive for calm.

If you were to dream

reality will fade

glued to a wall of unopened thoughts

unleashing the unknown

you would pass your route.

If you were to feel

let mercy wrap your emotions

find solitude but not loneliness

search for the chants of your desires

close your eyes and grow.

If you were here

would you smile or cry?

your sense of pride would blind

no dreams, just hope,

that may be enough, but for now,

you cannot see who I am.
